We operate as fee for service and currently do not bill insurance, however as licensed professionals we may qualify as out-of-network providers in which you may be able to submit the claims for reimbursement from your insurance. We are happy to provide a superbill upon request.

Questions for your health insurance provider:

• You will want to inquire about your out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services including whether your benefits cover a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

• How many sessions they cover for mental health 

• If there are certain diagnoses they cover or not

• Whether you need a referral from your healthcare provider

• What your deductible is

• You may also be able to use your FSA/HSA to pay for sessions

Benefits to not using private insurance:

• Providing a mental health diagnosis is then optional and not required

• You will have more options in terms of what modality of therapy we are able to provide, length of treatment, and other components of your services than if determined by an insurance provider

• You will maintain more privacy of your healthcare information and records
